Developed by Revolver, the Kameleon is the only dedicated dual wheel system which can be switched from a Deep section spoked wheel into a full Disc wheel in a matter of seconds. Universal disc wheel covers are widely available but simply do not come close to matching the level of flawless integration and aerodynamics achieved as a result of the innovative Kameleon project.

In Deep section mode this wheel delivers the same level of performance as our Kronostok 9 rear wheel using a wide section rim which works best with tyre widths of 23mm and above, for superior rolling resistance. The rim also has our blunt edge profile for excellent handling characteristics without aerodynamic compromise, available in clincher & tubular formats.
In full Disc mode this wheel is almost indistinguishable from our top selling Revolver CX Disc model. Fitting our ‘Wave Lenticular’ carbon disc’s using only a retaining hub collar, without any unsightly side fixing or distortion this wheel then becomes one of the very fastest wheels available, unhindered by its versatility… Fact!
Advantages of the Kameleon
Specific course & conditions wheel choice come race day
Easy transportation inside bike boxes that wouldn’t normally accommodate a disc wheel
Eliminates Age Group competitors worries of last minute disc wheel exclusion in international AG championships due to adverse conditions. No need to travel with two rear wheels
One wheel, one tyre, one cassette, two choices
And of course, one wheel purchase
How it works
The Kameleon is designed to convert from Deep section spoked wheel to full Disc wheel in no time at all (less than a minute in fact with a little practice).
The carbon fibre discs are dedicated to each side of the wheel and are located onto the hub’s shoulders with a precise fit. This is a key feature as to how securely the disc’s sit once fitted.
The drive-side disc is fitted first, held in place with 12x heavy duty Velcro discs which have one side pre-fixed to the disc in their correct position. Simply align the inflation cut out in the disc with the inflation valve on the rim and fix the counterpart of the Velcro pads over the spokes to make a secure contact. Each of these individual pads has a 2kg grab capability which delivers a simple but effective means of fixing that will not work lose.
The non-drive side disc is even easier to fit. Once seated over the hub simply fit our purpose made alloy collar onto the hub’s shoulder and secure with a 4mm Allen Key. You now have one of the fastest Disc wheels available……Simple!

THE REVOLVER ASYMM-FWS – Worlds fastest road wheel.
The ‘Asymm’ Disc wheel is our breakthrough in aerodynamic design, which in little more than a year went from an idea on a drawing board, to being riden to Gold in Rio by Dame Sarah Storey – Team GB. 2017 sees our record breaking Asymm joined by the next generation of FWS models. With an all new drag reducing form and the inherent lightness of our FWS rims, this now becomes our flagship performance wheel.

New for 2018 the Kronos DD is our top performing rear Disc Wheel for the new generation of Disc Brake TT/Triathlon bikes. Designed with the same proven aerodynamic efficiency as the highly successful rim brake Kronos you wont find a faster wheel against the clock that possesses the superior stopping power of a Disc hub brake. Don’t make do. Go Disc…..Go Fast!
New for 2018 the Helikon rear Disc wheel combines the superior aerodynamic qualities of our race proven Wave Lenticular designs with an incredibly light weight for a clincher format disc. At a feathery starting weight of just 1025g the Helikon is in fact the lightest Lenticular (non flat) clincher disc wheel currently available. An all new twin contoured design allows compatibility with almost every TT/Tri frameset out there while rivalling the killer aerodynamics of our current ‘Asymm’ models. Aerodynamics is of paramount importance when choosing a disc wheel but for lighter riders or those competing in sporting events lightweight can play a significant part in overall performance.
A one to one consultancy to determine the most suitable build specification is undertaken upon ordering and before manufacture. A bespoke service unique to Revolver.

Top performing TT/Triathlon specific wheel at the cutting edge of aerodynamic design which has been used to stunning effect since being first rolled out in 2014. The Kronos* models have helped riders set new PB’s, win major races, take championship medals and smash Triathlon bike splits. In fact they were ridden to Gold, Silver & Bronze in the 2015 National Team Time Trial Championships, by the Pearl Izumi-Sports International Tours – pro team. Pretty impressive stuff!
